Joann V. Mis (Lottie)

Joann is both honored and thrilled to be a part of this upcoming performance of Get Off My Cabbage. It has been a long time since we have been able to put Lottie and Bernice back on the Ghostlight stage. Aside from the Lottie and Bernice franchise, she has had many roles over the years in several productions here at the theatre. When not at the theatre, Joann proudly teaches chorus, general music and is the director of the theatre arts program at Frontier Middle School. "I thank my family, friends new and old for supporting the theatre."

Debby Koszelak Swartz (Bernice)

Debby has a BS in Elementary Education with an extension in English from Buffalo State College. She received her MA in Theatre and English from the University of Buffalo. She has been involved in theatre since 1975. She works in all facets of the theatre arts. She is the director of our annual summer musical and an actress most known for her role as Bernice in the Lottie & Bernice franchise. Her favorite acting roles include Bernice of the Lottie & Bernice duo, the dead grandmother in The Birds That Stay, Violet in All Through the Night, and Gram (2011) and Autumn (1992) in Halloween Dreams. Her favorite shows she's directed are Fiddler on the Roof, Oklahoma!, The Sound of Music, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Oliver!, Big RiverPippin, and Beauty and the Beast

L. Don Swartz (Hal)

Artistic and Executive Director of Starry Night/Ghostlight since 1982, Don has directed over 130 plays and has appeared in almost as many. He's appeared in many of our spring comedies over the years including The Lottie & Bernice Show, The Curious Savage, Noodles, Lottie & Bernice: Livin' Large, The Boys Next Door, Here We Sit, Final Notice, Lottie & Bernice: Regrets Only, Dearly Departed, Lottie & Bernice: Get Off My Cabbage! (2010), and Angels in Love. He is the creator of the Lottie & Bernice franchise. 

Jesse Swartz (Sal)

Having been a member of the Ghostlight Theatre company for decades, Jesse originated the role of Sal in the Lottie & Bernice franchise. A versatile actor, Jesse has appeared in a multitude of shows over the years, ranging from our fall thrillers, Christmas shows, winter classics, and comedies. Some of his comedic roles can be found in The Lottie & Bernice Show, The Curious Savage, Noodles (Grampa in 2017 and Ned in 2007), Lottie & Bernice: Livin' Large, The Boys Next Door, Here We Sit, Final Notice, Lottie & Bernice: Regrets Only, Lottie & Bernice: Get Off My Cabbage! (2010), Time Out For Ginger, Angels in Love, and Arsenic and Old Lace

Paul McGinnis (The Cabbage Head)

Paul has been the victim of Lottie and Bernice since they first called him, "Cabbage Head!" in Here We Sit in 2006. Since then, he's been beaten up in The Lottie and Bernice Show (2008), the 2010 production of Get Off My Cabbage!, Regrets Only, and Livin' Large

Ariana Rose (A Neighborhood Kid)

Ariana Rose is an active member of the Ghostlight Theatre both on and off the stage, appearing in Jekyll/Hyde, All Through the Night, Night of the Living Dead, Tales from the Ghostlight, our first-ever Ghost Tour Weekend in 2021, and 2019’s A Christmas Carol. You can find her here every weekend doing classes or crew, as the theatre is her favorite place. Ari has previously played in productions throughout North Tonawanda including Storyteller in Shrek the Musical, Alice in Alice @ Wonderland, the Wicked Witch of the West in The Wizard of Oz: The Deleted Scene, and The Storyteller in What Happened After Once Upon a Time.

Dylan Flynt (A Neighborhood Kid)

This is Dylan's fourth performance at the Ghostlight Theatre. He made his Starry Night debut back in 2019 as Boy Scrooge in A Christmas Carol. He also played John in All Through the Night and the Newsie in Jekyll/Hyde. At school performances, Dylan portrayed Kristof in Frozen, Jr., Cogsworth in Beauty and the Beast, Jr., and Bill Jukes in Peter Pan, Jr. Dylan made his acting debut as The Caterpillar in The Very Hungry Caterpillar at the young age of four. Dylan looks forward to being a part of the Starry Night Theatre company for many years to come!

Isabella Teter (A Neighborhood Kid)

Isabella recently joined the Ghostlight Theatre Company in 2021's All Through the Night where she played the role of Katherine.

Juliet Mysiak (A Neighborhood Kid)

Juliet made her debut on the Ghostlight stage as a zombie in the 2021 production of Night of the Living Dead. Since then, she's appeared in every production! You may have spotted her as Helen/Mabel's understudy in All Through the Night and most recently as Dr. Jekyll's niece, Alice, in Jekyll/Hyde. Juliet is also a member of the theatre's acting class and she looks forward to many more productions!

Isabella Rose (A Neighborhood Kid)

Isabella Rose is a new member of the Ghostlight cast and crew, having stepped into the role of Helen as an understudy during All Through the Night. She enjoyed it so much, she started taking classes, working crew, and ushering at the theatre. Bella has previously played in performances at the North Tonawanda Youth Center as Tweedledum in Alice@Wonderland, the Farmer’s Wife in The Wizard of Oz: The Deleted Scene, and The Princess in What Happened After Once Upon a Time.

Abigail Laski (A Neighborhood Kid)

Abigail has been a member of the Ghostlight Theatre Company since she made her debut in 2017's Yes Virginia, There is a Santa Claus. Since then, she's appeared in The Curious Savage, Beauty and the Beast, The Silver Lady, Nosferatu: The Legend of Dracula, Night of the Living Dead, and most recently All Through the Night (Mabel in 2018 and Frances in 2021). She's also the 2021 recipient of the Jed Woomer Memorial Spirit Award.

Autumn Borowiec (A Neighborhood Kid)

Autumn was bitten by the acting bug at the age of four when she began at the Academy of Theatre Arts. She has since taken acting classes and played roles in various productions in local theatres such as Niagara Players, North Tonawanda Recreation Theatre Club, and the Ghostlight Theatre. Her roles have varied from chorus ensemble to White Rabbit in Alice @ Wonderland to a current lead role as Elle in Forgiven: A Fairy Tale. Autumn is a member of the Ghostlight Theatre where she participates in acting classes and stage crew. Her debut on the Ghostlight stage was in 2021's production of All Through the Night as Mabel.

James Eskra (A Neighborhood Kid)

James first appeared on the Ghostlight stage in 2020 as a messenger boy in Nosferatu: The Legend of Dracula. Since then, he was part of our filmed production, A Christmas Rose, as well as Night of the Living Dead and All Through the Night
